Fresh potatoes, vegetables and fruit
Our product range consists of mostly fresh potatoes, vegetables and fruit. It ranges from all known sorts to sea vegetables, exotic fruit, edible flowers, mini vegetables and cresses. Together with our growers we are continuously searching for new products and specialties.
Cut vegetables, salads and raw salads
Processing the food is an important activity for Van Gelder, because we offer way more than just unprocessed food. We offer vegetables cut in different shapes and sizes. The fresh food is transported as fast as possible from the grower to our main location in Ridderkerk to be processed. This quick process combined with modern packaging techniques ensures good quality. We also prepare food in our high care kitchen with an extended expiration date daily.
Product development and convenience food
Convenience food has proven to be very important in the professional kitchen. A lot of places need more people in the kitchen and we, Van Gelder and the product developers, like to help those places with our convenience food. Our product range is rapidly expanding and consists of vegetable purees, sous-vide products, fresh soup and already prepared stews.
