Orchard full of apples, pears and plums

You can see them hanging. Red. Green. Round. And outside the building, there's also plenty of space for experience. The connection to nature is literally extended right up to the front door, thanks to the orchard with no less than 540 fruit trees. In the orchard in front of our building, you’ll find varieties like Golden Delicious, Delcorf, as well as Elstar apples and the early summer apple, the Summercrisp. Pears such as Xenia, Beurré Alexander Lucas, and traditional varieties like Gieser Wildeman, Doyenné du Comice, and Conference can often be picked and tasted in August and September. Through this orchard, we show where apples and pears come from, how they grow, and how you can work magic with them in the kitchen. For example, during the season, you can buy apple pie in the tasting center—made with apples that were still hanging on the tree just that morning, right outside our front door.
