You can easily create one or more order lists, share them with colleagues, and determine who can edit the list. It’s possible to set fixed quantities and order all products with one click. Additionally, we’ve already created the first order list for you, just to make things easier. There's also an automatically generated order list based on your most frequently purchased products. When searching on the shop, you can filter for these products to always see the right ones. If an item is (temporarily) unavailable and an alternative is available, we’ll automatically replace it on your order list. Of course, we’ll include a notification so you're kept informed. This way, entering your order quickly is never at risk. We also offer the ‘Previously Purchased’ option, where you can see when and how many of each product was ordered before. This is handy if you need to estimate how much to order. By clicking on the order number, the respective order will open, and with just one click, the entire order can be reordered.

Nothing is more frustrating than products you need for your dish that aren’t delivered. That’s why, as a customer, you always see real-time information tailored to your situation for each product. For every item, we always show the earliest available delivery date based on the product's availability and your specific delivery days. This way, you know exactly when the products will arrive in your kitchen. Ordering products with different delivery dates? No problem, we’ll automatically split the order for you so everything is delivered at the earliest possible time. If you wish to order an item with a longer delivery time, we’ll show a notification for that product if a comparable alternative is available sooner. Of course, it’s also possible to adjust the delivery date yourself. This way, you always have control over your stock and delivery timing. In the rare case of an item being out of stock, we’ll inform you immediately by email so you’ll be aware before the driver arrives to deliver your order.

For example, did you know that when you're logged in, we display the seasonal information for each product? With a quick glance, you can see whether the item is at its best, available, limited in availability, or out of stock for each month. It's great to know that you can serve the dish throughout the entire period that you're using the menu.
We help you save money
If there are opportunities to save money, we will communicate this honestly and openly. If you order multiple units of a product but not quite enough to fill a full crate, we will show a notification in the shopping cart indicating that it is cheaper, proportionally, to order a full crate. We will also indicate the percentage that can be saved by choosing the full crate option. You always have the choice whether or not to use the recommendation. If the crate option is cheaper than the number of units ordered, Van Gelder will automatically replace your order in the shopping cart. A great advantage: extra products for a lower price. If you still want to receive the ordered quantity, you can undo the change at any time.

Thanks to our track-and-trace information, we predict the exact time the driver will arrive, with an accuracy of one hour.
